Motor Carriers, Owner/ Operators and CDL Driver Course Offerings

Classes of Drivers Licenses: This course examines the differences between the different classes of Licenses. It will also distinguish the different endorsements, restrictions, and why they are important.

Compliance Safety and Accountability Program: This course closely examines the reach of the FMCSA Compliance Safety and Accountability (CSA) program. This course is designed to provide insight into the Federal Program and how it affects all Motor Carriers and Regulated Drivers.

Load Securement: This course explores the North American Cargo Securement Standards as set forth in the Federal Regulations. It is designed to examine the regulations and procedures that should be followed when securing various types of cargo.

Over Length, Width, and Height Permits: This course focuses on State length, width, and height laws. It also examines permitting movements that are over allowed dimensions. Additionally, it is designed to provide an overview the variety of permits that are available and how to obtain the proper permits.

Record of Duty Status: This course has been designed to explain the Hours of Service record-keeping requirements.

Registration Law: This course examines the State Registration Laws.

Roadside Compliance: This course examines practical procedures CDL drivers and Motor Carriers can do to yield the best results from a random roadside inspection.

Roadside Inspection Procedures: This course explains the Hours of Service record-keeping requirements.

Roadside Inspection Survival: This course focuses on issues that motor carriers and drivers are faced with when being stopped for routine DOT roadside inspection.

Weight and Bridge Law & Over-Weight Permits: This course examines the regulations concerning State Weight Law, Bridge Law, and Over Dimensional Permits. In addition, it will examine the numerous cargo-specific permits.

Administrative Compliance: This course is designed to focus on the complex issues of Administrative Compliance and teach the required DOT files, forms, and procedures that motor carriers must maintain.

Maintenance and Management of Records: This course is designed to explore the regulations concerning Regulated Vehicle maintenance files.

New Company Start Up: This course examines the processes of starting a new trucking company. It focuses on administrative compliance and the steps/processes that an owner must set in place before operating. This course includes the “Administrative Compliance” Course detailed above.
